Heat Wave Haikus

Fifty-five degrees.
Sun is out and tests are done.
Yet still I work, work...

Inside where I sit:
Quiet, hot, stuffy, and gross.
The outdoors calls me.

5:30 is three
more hours away from now.
Thank you, dear Jesus.
